I create photographic portraits and staged narratives inspired by the visual language of the Old Masters. Baroque light, classical composition and the expressive possibilities of the human figure shape my work.

Drawing on biblical and mythological stories, as well as my own memories and experiences, I explore beauty, vulnerability and intimacy. In the studio, light, gesture and the relationships between figures give these ideas a physical presence. Digital techniques help me develop the texture, colour and atmosphere of each image.

I see this approach as a form of NeoPictorialism: bringing the sensibility of painting into contemporary photography.

My goal is to honour the traditions of the Old Masters while making their aesthetic relevant and accessible to contemporary audiences, creating images that invite viewers to pause, feel and find a personal connection.
